MP3 files are quite suitable for Internet transmission, as they are much smaller
than corresponding sound files of audio CD quality. It is possible to save even
more space by recording in mono or compromising with the sound quality. In order
to avoid too big files, a more compact format has been used for some of the longest
pieces below.

MIDI files require least space in proportion to the amount of music they supply.
A MIDI file could be compared to a score that you present to the computer to play
from with its own instruments. In fact following pieces are piano music but depending on your sound card
and MIDI settings, the result may vary.
